Upper Lip Waxing – Procedure
-
Consultation
Ask the client about skin sensitivity, allergies, or recent skin treatments (like facial, peel, or laser). -
Clean the Area
Clean the upper lip area with a gentle cleanser or antiseptic wipe to remove oil, makeup, and dirt. -
Dry the Skin
Apply a small amount of talcum powder to keep the skin dry and help the wax stick to the hair. -
Heat the Wax
Warm the wax to the correct temperature. Test the wax on your wrist to ensure it is not too hot. -
Apply the Wax
Using a spatula, apply a thin layer of wax on the upper lip in the direction of hair growth. -
Place the Wax Strip
Place a waxing strip over the wax and press gently so it sticks properly. -
Remove the Hair
Hold the skin tight and quickly pull the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth. -
Clean the Area
Remove any remaining wax using a wax remover or oil. -
Soothe the Skin
Apply aloe vera gel or soothing lotion to reduce redness and irritation. -
